About
The Coalitions Youth Action Team’s project is called “Melrose Draws the Line”. We are looking for stories from the community of Melrose where a friend you know or yourself has crossed the line with substance abuse. These stories will be anonymous and only used for the purpose of the campaign to prevent substance abuse.
We envision that reading these stories will enlighten people to change their ways or prevent risky behavior from happening . It is important to realize that substance abuse does not affect your life but it affects everyone around you. We are not trying to use fear, we are not forcing you to act a certain way, we just want a forum where people can discuss where they “Cross the Line” and hopefully others will begin to understand the consequences of their own actions. Please read each story with the upmost respect because some of these stories will have a meaning and a purpose to someone else.
